Working of slat type conveyor
The contaminated coolant from the machine falls on the conveyor by gravity through a trough or pipe. The chips are carried away by slat and semi clean coolant overflows into the tank. For further details of conveyor tank please refer our drawing. The Conveyor system consists of slat assemblies mounted on extended pitch chain. The main shaft is supported by flanged bearing (P205J) for smooth running of the chain it is supported by idler guides.
